IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO READ BEFORE COMMENCING
CLASSES AT THE BLUE DOLPHIN SWIM CENTRE
This information is also on the reverse of your swim school calendar
Class Bookings
· The swim school runs for 4 Terms a year including 6 Holiday Swim Programs.
· Your child has a permanent booking in the school and will be carried over from term to term subject to financial commitment.
· At the end of Week 9 if you have not financially committed to the following term, your position will become available for new enrolments.
Payments can be made at reception or by credit card over the phone
· Fees are paid by the term, regardless of attendance. Payment options are available.
· Lessons must be paid in advance.
· Payment for each swim term is due on Week 8 of the previous term. Please see calendar.
· 2 week cancellation fee applies.
· Management reserves the right to cease lessons on any student who has not paid or for behavioral issues in accordance with Blue Dolphin Swim Centre standards.
Absence from Class please read carefully and clarify with reception if necessary
· There is one complimentary make-up per term per child allowed with prior notification of absence.
· There is no make-up for a missed make-up lesson.
· A missed lesson is not refundable and cannot be credited to the next term.
· Children missing other lessons due to illness are required to supply a doctor’s certificate
to qualify for further make-ups.
· Make-up classes must be redeemed within the term of the absence.
Assessment & Supervisors
· Grading is done on Weeks 3 & 4 of each term.
· Pool Deck Supervisors are available at all sessions to answer your questions about your child’s progress.
· To accommodate grade progression and seasonal changes, class times may change with notification.
Ongoing Individual Assessments at Blue Dolphin Swim Centre ensures
· Quality control of our swimming program
· That your child is learning at the correct level
Going on Holidays
· Retain your position in the school by paying a holding fee.
Public Holidays
· Centre is closed: 2 week July, 2 weeks Christmas and all public holidays. Please see calendar.
Children progress at various speeds
Please be patient with your children during the learning process and reward their effort

 Holiday Safety Swim Program Policies
Important information to read before commencing classes at
Blue Dolphin Swim Centre
Class Bookings
· The swim school runs for 4 Terms a year including 7 Holiday Safety Swim Programs.
· A deposit of $25.00 is required upon booking a Holiday Safety Swim Program.
Payments can be made at reception or by credit card over the phone
· Fees are finalised on Day 1 of each Holiday Safety Swim Program regardless of attendance.
· Lessons must be paid in advance.
· $25.00 cancellation fee applies.
· 5% offered to current Term swimmers.
Absence from Class please read carefully & clarify with reception if necessary
· There are no make-up classes during the Holiday Safety Swim Program.
· A missed lesson is not refundable and cannot be credited to a future Holiday Swim Program.
· A Holiday Safety Swim Program unattended due to illness requires a medical certificate to qualify for credit of lessons toward a future Holiday Safety Swim Program (redeemable within 12 months).

· Your child will be graded during the Holiday Safety Swim Program
· Pool Deck Supervisors are available to answer any questions about your child’s progress.
· All children taking part in the Holiday Safety Swim Program receive a certificate on the final day.
